Ms. K. Loney

Ms. Loney

Welcome! This is my twentieth year teaching art at FJMS.

Before teaching here, I taught drawing classes at the College of Charleston, and Art History at Trident Tech, and also visited many schools around South Carolina as an artist-in–residence. Early on, my artwork consisted of woven tapestry and handmade paper. Some of my more recent artwork, small painted landscapes and nature studies, can be seen in the Contemporary Carolina Collection at MUSC’s Ashley River Tower, which can also be viewed on-line at

I received my BFA degree at University of Massachusetts, and my MFA at University of South Carolina.
